Talent Data Analyst

Our international client is a global leader in the petrochemical industry. They are now looking for a Talent Data Analyst to join their Talent Learning and Resourcing team, within the HR group function.
Job Profile
· This is a supportive position generating high level analysis identifying structural issues as well as assessing details and data.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Being accountable for the modeling, reporting and presentation of data to the talent team for HR and business communities relating to expatriate management, gender recruitment/ representation, recruitment delivery and progression amongst others
· Specifying, designing, developing, testing and maintaining talent data model. Identifying improvement opportunities to this model
· Supporting the talent management activities through effective use of data and analysis
· Acting as support to talent management activities, including presentation of materials as required within the talent team
· Interfacing with global data team, to better utilise existing data systems to feed talent processes and talent related decisions
· Improving talent reporting and systems to identify opportunities for systemic talent process improvements
· Responding to data requests relating to data systems and reporting
· Analysing and supporting talent decisions using HR data
Candidate Profile
· Must be fluent in written and spoken English
· Must have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a supportive information analysing/processing role
· Must be a highly skilled Excel user and have demonstrable IT skills
· Must have an analytical mindset and have affection to work with large sets of data
· Willing to generating high level analysis to identify structural issues, as well as ability to assess details
· Be experienced in data modeling and affinity to learn new systems and databases viewed as highly beneficial
· Ability to communicate and engage effectively with various levels of the HR community
· Ability to learn fast e.g. understanding the Global Business organisation and individuals within the target population
· Ability to work quickly and accurately to maintain and analyse talent data (some routine and some on an ad hoc basis)
· A down to earth, solution driven mindset and highly reliable and accurate
· Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
