                            Our client is a Dutch pharmaceutical company which develops and manufactures generic human medicines. Expanding its business activities the company is also engaged in the research and development of biotechnology-based medicines. The head office is in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, and the company has six affiliates abroad. The company employs around 900 staff of whom 280 work in Nijmegen. The Products are licensed out to third parties and are marketed worldwide. The company culture is characterized by a determined and entrepreneurial spirit.

For our client we are looking for a fulltime           Project Manager Research & Development (m/f)
Position
R &D projects are run on the basis of a multi-disciplinary matrix structure. The project manager is responsible for setting up, managing and running a number of drug development projects (five to eight) in parallel. The project manager coordinates each project to achieve agreed targets, in particular with regard to delivering high quality standards, meeting deadlines and within budget and resources. He/she closely monitors the progress of his/her projects using a hands-on approach, and will make adjustments to the allocated tasks as and when required. The project manager is the contact person for all parties involved such as Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Intellectual Property, R&D etc and provides advice and support to management and stakeholders (i.e. the Board). After the final evaluation and regulatory approval the project manager will hand the project over to Product Management department. The project manager reports to the Vice President Research & Development and provides project management information to the project management office and project team.

Requirements a Master degree in chemistry, pharmacy, biology or related subjects at least two years of relevant project management experience experience in pharmaceutical or related industry outstanding command of the English language
